At Taskonomy, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers:

  • Available for first-time subscribers only
  • Request must be made within 7 days of your initial subscription payment
  • Full refund of the subscription fee will be provided
  • Access to the Service will be terminated upon refund
  • Refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days

2. Subscription Renewals

For subscription renewals, please note:

  • Renewal charges are non-refundable
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period
  • No prorated refunds are provided for mid-cycle cancellations

3. Exceptional Circumstances

We may provide refunds outside of the 7-day window in the following circumstances:

  • Service Outages: Extended service disruptions that prevent you from using the Service
  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts
  • Fraudulent Charges: Unauthorized transactions on your account
  • Technical Issues: Critical bugs that prevent core functionality (must be reported within 7 days)

Refund decisions for exceptional circumstances are at our sole discretion and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription fees beyond the 7-day guarantee period
  • Partial subscription periods (no prorated refunds)
  • Services already consumed or used
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Third-party service fees or charges
  • Downgraded subscriptions (no refund for the difference)

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email our support team at support@taskonomy.com
  2. Include your account email address and subscription details
  3. Provide a brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund
  4. Include any relevant transaction IDs or payment confirmations

We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.

6. Cancellation Process

If you wish to cancel your subscription without requesting a refund:

  • Log in to your Taskonomy account
  • Navigate to Account Settings or Billing
  • Select "Cancel Subscription"
  • Confirm your cancellation
  • You will receive an email confirmation

Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No charges will be made after cancellation.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your payment provider or bank (chargeback) without first contacting us, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account and pursue collection of the disputed amount. Chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and prohibition from future use of the Service.

Please contact us first to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback.

8. Subscription Plan Changes

When changing subscription plans:

  • Upgrades: Charged immediately, prorated for remaining billing period
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the next billing cycle, no refund for difference
  • You can change plans at any time through your account settings
  • Changes do not reset the 7-day money-back guarantee period

9. Free Trials and Promotions

Currently, Taskonomy does not offer free trials. All subscriptions begin immediately upon payment. Any promotional offers or discounts are subject to specific terms and conditions provided at the time of the offer and do not extend the 7-day money-back guarantee.

10. Data Retention After Refund

After a refund is processed, your account will be terminated. We will retain your data for 30 days in case you wish to resubscribe. After 30 days, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Currency and Exchange Rates

Refunds are processed in the original currency of the transaction. If currency exchange rates have changed between the payment and refund dates, the refunded amount may differ from the original charge due to exchange rate fluctuations. We are not responsible for any difference caused by currency conversions.

12. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy. However, any changes will not affect refund requests already submitted.
